Here’s how it works:

Icon Rocklear Warranty Terms and Conditions

Painted surfaces of the vehicle that are coated will be covered by Icon Rocklear International Inc. against delamination, peeling, yellowing and/or premature fading due to product failure for a period of up to 15 years, depending on the duration option chosen and notated on the original invoice. Marine gelcoat is covered for the same failures for up to 7 years.

Failure to comply with the following conditions will result in the warranty being VOID and will remove any responsibility from Icon Rocklear International Inc. or its affiliates;

• The Icon Rocklear coating must be applied by a certified and licensed installation facility;
• Warranty MUST be registered at www.iconrockleartexas.com by the vehicle owner within 30 days of application;
• The Icon Rocklear coating must be inspected within 18 months of application. This application is at the sole responsibility of the client. The client must retain record of the inspection for guarantee validation;
• Future services including inspections, polishing or scratch/chip repairs to Icon Rocklear MUST be completed by a certified / licensed facility;
• The coating MUST be maintained properly according to the recommended aftercare;

Important to Note: Because of Icon Rocklear’s protective component/material and its glossy depth, the appearance may differ slightly from factory finishes. Icon Rocklear will “fill in” some surface swirls and add a deep gloss; however deeper scratches, pitting, texture, etching or other imperfections in the paint may still be visible. Also, due to the human application aspect and the variables of how each vehicle’s paint/clear coat bonds with the coating, a perfect application is not guaranteed.

Icon Rocklear Inc nor its affiliates or certified installation facilities are not responsible for repair, failure, damage, or flaws caused by:

• Any damage to the Icon Rocklear coating, including scratches, stone chips, collision or fire
• Willful damage or negligent or unlawful behavior.
• Any car washing: including but not limited to spinning brush equipped, handheld or automatic car washes.
• Repainted or repaired panels.
• Coming in contact with acid, heavy chemicals, fuels, bleach, paint, ink, dyes, corrosive materials, or any other substance deemed harmful to the Icon Rocklear coating.
• Dust particles or dirt debris.
• Flaws, factory defects or deficiencies in the treated surfaces.
• Damage or flaws to vinyl trim, chrome, glass, headlamps/covers, metal parts, rubber parts, accessories, or any films installed on the surface of the vehicle.

Warranty Procedure

• Clients must first contact the installing certified facility to schedule an inspection;
• A licensed facility will complete an Inspection and contact Icon Rocklear Claims Dept.
• A certified warranty expert must inspect the vehicle before any authorization for warranty to begin.
• Approved warranty claims will be remedied by re-application to the guaranteed panels.

Please note that details are subject to change.

Any warranty can be voided:

• Due to damages to the coating form third-party or collisions.
• Due to not following the aftercare instructions.
• If the vehicle did not receive the proper curing time out of rain or water from either natural or unnatural circumstances such as a car wash or an at-home washing of the vehicle.
• If the vehicle is used for sports formal and informal such as off-roading use, racing, mudding, hunting, camping, or any other sport that may require the vehicle to be used in a rugged or adventure-style setting.
• If the vehicle at the time of the warranty item is out of our range of service of our location(s).
• If the vehicle is/was repainted outside of the knowledge of Ai Autoworks.
• If the vehicle survives an accident, total loss, flood, hail storm, or any other natural act of God.
• The vehicle gets paint work or body work done altering the Icon Rocklear coating properties of the coating such as:
  • stripping the coating layer that can negatively affect the Icon Rocklear coating applied,
  • paint correction or polish on top of the Icon Rocklear coating,
  • installing PPF or vinyl wrap from an installer or shop that is not Icon Rocklear certified,
  • the customer accepts any refund on any products, labor, or deposit.
